Author Harinder Sikka's best selling book 'Calling Sehmat', which sold around five lakh copies, has been adapted to a film named RAZZI. Razzi, a Hindi language spy thriller, starring Alia Bhatt in the role of Sehmat and Vicky Kausal in that of her husband, revolves around a young Kashmiri girl agrees to marry a Pakistani Army Officer in order to spy for India.

In the movie version, some scenes have been omitted as per the wishes of the filmmakers. To this Sikka shows his discontent over the omission of the highlight scene from the movie. Sikka is of the view that if this highlight "Tricolor scene" would not be omitted then it would win the National Award.

Talking about the Tricolour scene, which is based on a real incident during the 1971 Indo-Pak war, ends the story with Sehmat saluting the Tricolour, but in the movie version, it is omitted over there.

It is a sarcastic attack on the view that all Kashmiri Muslims are terrorists. No mother wants or gives stones in the hands of her son. There have been Kashmiris like Sehmat who shows a great deal of courage and even ready to give life for the sake of the country.
Talking about his future projects, Sikka shows great interest in the Abrogation of Article 370.
